“I was recommended this cafe by my in laws and I wasn't disappointed. I went for brunch, they had a nice range of options and were very accommodating to vegans. Prices were average and the cafe is beautifully maintained and very welcoming. It's small but didn't feel over crowded. The chap who served us was friendly and helpful. We had spicy mexican bean soup - it was really good, filling, hearty and had a nice range of beans and veg, the bread that was served was light and fluffy- very yummy. The coffee was well made and of good quality. We felt quite relaxed and leisurely here. Dogs are welcome. They were able to provide a clean highchair for my daughter too. Overall we were very impressed.”

“Very well stocked with fruit and vegetables, I didn't see anything out of stock. Produce in excellent condition, based on the 10 or so veggies I bought. Amazing variety of goods inside, all health-conscious. Prices reflect quality and rarity of finding produce elsewhere. Spacious area inside, too, although the several short aisles are quite narrow. There is a cafe with different closing times next door. Shame I missed it!”

“Stopped in when the Sat Nav decided to take us an incredibly strange route home. How glad we did. Beautiful setting and a very relaxed atmosphere. I'm just a bit sad we don't live closer. Really helpful and knowledgeable, with wines ranging in price and taste to suit everyone. Sign outside says "wine for the beach and the bbq" which is exactly what you'll find - plus a whole lot more. The only thing it's lacking is the innate snobbishness that would usually be associated with such a fantastic place, and It's all the better for it.”

“My first visit to Barbican Botanics took place this Thursday evening, during a small plate tasting event where Barbican Botanics joined forces with a Japanese restaurant, KuKu(another local business). The evening was absolutely exquisite. Culinary masterpieces, accompanied with drinks which had been delicately and passionately developed to enhance the flavour of each dish. The service was attentive, friendly and was served with a wealth of knowledge about the product in which they were providing.
