Welcome to CliniKids Joondalup, a remarkable institution located at Edgewater, Joondalup Drive, 57. As a not-for-profit center, CliniKids integrates world-class research with a clinical service to provide support for children with developmental delay and/or an autism diagnosis, as well as their families. In fact, CliniKids is the first of its kind for autism in Australia.
At CliniKids, our main goal is to help children and families reach their full potential by offering therapy support and individualized programs. What sets us apart is the unique integration of clinical services with cutting-edge research. Our exceptional team of researchers collaborates closely with our clinicians, ensuring that the community has access to the world's best evidence-based therapies.
On our webpage, you will find a wealth of information and resources to support your child on the autism spectrum. We are proud to be the first clinical service of the renowned Telethon Kids Institute, providing autism therapies and support for young children.
Our innovative model revolves around the children with developmental delay and/or an autism diagnosis, and their families. By working side by side, our exceptional team of researchers and clinicians, led by Professor Andrew Whitehouse, puts research into practice, offering families tailored supports and the best evidence-based therapies available.
As a registered NDIS provider, CliniKids offers early support services including speech pathology, occupational therapy, and clinical psychology for children under the age of 9 years. Additionally, families have the opportunity to be involved in our most current research, further contributing to advancements in the field.
In addition to our clinical services, CliniKids also runs workshops for parents and caregivers, providing valuable information and strategies. We also offer professional training in specific therapies for clinicians and autism professionals, ensuring that our expertise is shared with the wider community.
