“Visited this venue for a business meeting in the member lounge. The Team were very professional and welcome. The catering options provided were fitting and the Team were very attentive. Beautiful views of Perth CBD and the sunset also did not disappoint. From arrival to departure I felt very welcomed and we were very well looked after. I would recommend if staying in Perth for location and experience.”

“Called up and was offered a room for a couple that night at 15% off. On arrival, I was offered a seat and was given an upgrade with a view. Then I was informed I would get a complimentary bottle of wine and a cheese platter would be delivered to the room shortly. ADDITIONALLY they gave us drink vouchers for the rooftop restaurant. VERY IMPRESSED. Clean and modern. Beautiful bathroom products that smelled amazing. Kettle and bar fridge too. Administration professional, with an emailed receipt of payment. Only downside is $15 parking and $100 bond for fridge condiments. My preference is pay only for condiments if I use them rather than a lump sum and waiting for it to come back into the bank account days later.”

“Stayed there for my work trip. The room was spacious and clean, staff members were friendly. I am not sure the price but if I come to Perth again, I would stay there if the price was reasonable. Great central location, close to Elizabeth Quay and other transports and major shopping spots.”

“We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks at the Civic Hotel last night. I loved being able to order a large wine that only costs $11 and was of decent quality too! Our meals were very delicious as well (we ordered the steak and cheeseburger) and were also very reasonably priced. This unpretentious venue is a gem and we look forward to coming back for a music gig in a month's time.”

“I’ve stayed here month one month for work for the last 6 + months. When I started coming there was no recognition of IHG membership, sometimes the rooms didn’t get cleaned when staying multiple. But I’m very happy to say the rooms are immaculately cleaned everyday now. IHG membership is acknowledged, staff are welcoming and any request for extra essentials is without previous confusion (getting a toothbrush was an issue on my first stay). Clearly post covid staffing was an issue…. This has all been resolved now. Happy to recommend moving forward.”

“Great place to stay. Car park is a bit limited but if you arrive after 6pm, there’s plentiful street parking. The breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable albeit a bit on the older side. Still, there are good amenities plus a gym also.”

“We had our wedding celebrated at Esplanade. Karen & her team have been very helpful, they have provided us the best experience for a wedding, no stress and all fun. She understood our requirements from day 1. She made all the suggestions that highlights the beauty of the occasion. We enjoyed our families' presence with no hassles in this hotel. From all the room bookings to the ceremony & reception areas, all were attended well. And I can say that, one best decision me & my husband have come up with is to have our big day celebrated at Esplanade. Food is to our satisfaction. Location wise, all the invited guests were able to enjoy the place with the landmarks & convenience of Fremantle.”

“Absolute amazing view of City for bargain price . We arrived late and were well taken care of no issues , allowed us a little extra time in morning due to arriving at 1230am. Clean room, great breakfast downstairs too .”

“The location is very convenient, the breakfast was substantial with plenty of selections. The rooms were spacious, the bed comfortable but could do with a bit of refurbishment. The staff were friendly and keen to help, we would stay there again.”

“Love this Hotel The room was very clean and ready when I arrive early. The room looked a bit bigger than the normal rooms. Very secure car parking and just was just a call away the gates open to park the car. Very easy to get in and out of the car park. Love the Nespresso coffee machine and the variety of capsules. It was a very quiet and peaceful Hotel”

“I stayed her back in the summer of 94'. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially the leek soup which was served to me by a rather ordinary waiter. Shall be returning soon.”

“Nice place, the people working there are very friendly and helpful. Stayed one night in the double twin room, very clean and so was the rest of the upstairs bathroom and common area. Nice little touches like leaving newspapers, travel brochures and magazines out are small but not insignificant. Would definitly stay again! Cheers guys.”

“Have stayed here multiple times and really like the place! The Chester room is awesome. I like the character of the place. Shared bathrooms are modern, clean and well stocked. Seamless check-in, very relaxed staff. Parking can be tight in the evenings, but I've always managed to snag a spot. As popular a spot as it is, I havent had any issues with noise at night. The food is great! Lots of good choices on the menu, but I havent been able to get past the lamb rack! Great spot on the main drag and very fairly priced accomodation”

“Fabulous boutique hotel in Perth CBD. Mid range prices but worth every $. We liked it so much we stayed there twice. The bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. The home-made granola, I know granola! was tasty and filling, the artisan fruit bread was delicious and the vegamite & cheese cruffins were off the scale. Free tea & coffee are available all day and the staff go above and beyond to help you. They all look like they enjoy working there. Well done the Alex team, you rock.”

“Visited the hotel during a short vacation, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The hotel staff were friendly and made me feel right at home with their genuine warmth and attentiveness. They even provided great recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, which made my stay even more enjoyable.”

“We had a two bedroom apartment from 12 - 15th June. The beds were great and the rooms had the necessary amenities. The property also had ample parking. Waking up to sea gulls and boats was brilliant. As was the fine Indian Ocean Brewery which served good steak and beers. Just a tiny suggestion to have a light near room 16.”

“Nice Hotel, I actually really enjoyed my one night stay here. Staff were understanding and did there job well, one of the male staff even helped carry some luggage. The hotel was clean, and I appreciated the vibe. The single bed room was nice, clean and had all the facilities I needed. Although there wasn’t a bin in my room, but I found a workaround and for me, it won’t knock any points off the rating. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shops, so finding food shouldn’t be an issue. I didn’t get to try the restaurant at the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed staying there. Plus the wifi worked well :)”

“The Norfolk recently hosted my family and I for a special Function for the Wake of a family member. Their staff leading up to and during the function were extremely accommodating, understanding and helpful. They made sure everything was organised well and hosted perfectly on the day with a very nice selection of food and good communication on the bar tab. Thank you Drew and Norfolk Staff for your help at a difficult time.”

“Great hotel for stopovers when transiting through Perth airport. Rooms are modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. Restaurant,Cafe and bar are all good. Seafood and meat buffet is great value. We didn't use the pool or gym but they look great. The free shuttle is prompt and convenient.”

“Guildford is picturesque and leafy little town. The Rose and Crown is a perfect fit with a laid back front bar option with several beers on tap and a great food selection. If you want a little more variety then 'The Garden' will provide more food options and a fantastic outdoor area to relax and listen to some tunes whilst enjoying a great feed. We visited on a Saturday and were worried that it would be too busy. We needn't have been concerned, the service was excellent and food arrived relatively quickly even though several functions were being held during this time. We look forward to a return visit next time we're in W.A.”

“Great great experience. I was invited and comp'ed the meal by our host. Everything about this dinner was flawless. Table- side service was a nice addition to the experience. Majority of dishes was served buffet style to self serve from a lazy susie... our host took care of the ordering for our group of 10. Delicious and decadent. Few foto's were taken!! Which was a first!! Everyone was so enthralled and expectant as each dish came to the table. The tooth fish was a clear fav, followed by the lobster, peking duck pancakes and beef. 9 dishes in total.”

“Rooms and location fantastic. If you're looking for service probably not the place for you as reception appears to be limited although could have been because we checked in Sunday arvo and out Monday morning. The room was huge and decent price. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Didn't stay in a room but had a meal in the roof top bar area. Food was great, service friendly and a wonderful view. Loved the little kiosk where the drinks were prepared. Cocktails are available and looked inviting. There's a lift from the ground floor to the roof as well as stairs. We'd just arrived from a Melbourne winter and we delighted in sitting on the sunny terrace, eating, drinking, and listening to some great music. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Our family had fun especially our children. The bday celbration of my niece was amazing because of the staff from reception, concierge, restaurant and housekeeping. “Amazing service staff that are good at their job and the best pork belly I’ve had in ages ! The team here really looked after us after a table booking misunderstanding. Finally an establishment with actual service. Well done and we will be back again.”

“A great place to stay that's right in the heart of everything with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The only issue we had during our stay was the temperature of the bedrooms. The apartment only has one split system air conditioner in the main living area and with the summer heat the cold air only went into the bedroom directly opposite the A/C. The other bedroom further away was very warm & made getting a good nights sleep difficult. Each room needs either its own split system air-conditioner or a celing fan.”
