Dr. Vincent P. Aluquin, MD
Dr. Vincent P. Aluquin, MD is a healthcare institution located at 310 Stock Street in Hanover, Pennsylvania, United States. As a doctor specializing in health, the institution offers various services for patients in need. The institution follows strict guidelines to ensure the safety and privacy of patients, including restrictions on the number of visitors at the bedside and in critical care units. The hospital unit coordinates visits for individuals under 18 years old and allows only two family or support persons over 18 to visit Labor and Delivery patients. Visitors are limited in adult and pediatric outpatient surgery and procedure departments, emergency departments, and outpatient practices. Parking at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is free for patients and visitors, with shuttle services available on campus. Valet parking is also offered for a nominal fee per vehicle, and electric vehicle charging stations are available. The institution provides various contact numbers for services such as CareLine, billing and insurance inquiries, neurointerventional radiology, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) – CT. The Emergency Department at the medical center is central Pennsylvania's only Level I Trauma Center for both children and adults, specializing in trauma, stroke, heart and vascular, pediatric, and neurosurgery patients. The department also has trained forensic registered nurses to provide care for sexual assault survivors. Patients visiting the Emergency Department will be greeted by registration staff and evaluated by a registered nurse before seeing a provider. The triage process prioritizes more seriously ill or injured patients, and tests and treatments may be administered based on the patient's condition. Specialist consultations, lab, and radiologist results may vary in time depending on patient volume and severity of the condition. Patients may require admission to the medical center or transfer to another facility if necessary. Discharged patients receive after-care instructions and prescriptions as needed. The Emergency Department also has a dedicated area for patients under 18 with staff trained in pediatric emergency medicine. The institution offers a secure website, My Penn State Health, for scheduling appointments, emailing healthcare providers, checking test results, refilling prescriptions, and paying bills. Various events and performances are also held at the institution, including musical performances and seminars. Additionally, the institution actively participates in clinical science research programs and seeks volunteers for clinical trials to improve diagnostic techniques and treatments. Blood donation events are also organized to encourage individuals to become life savers.
