Kopchick Hall
Kopchick Hall, located at 421 North Walk in Indiana, Pennsylvania, is the new home of the John J. and Char Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the university. This state-of-the-art, 142,000-square-foot building will serve as the central hub for all science and math-related activities at IUP. Thanks to the support of alumni and friends of the university, Kopchick Hall is set to open in 2023, providing students with opportunities to excel in their studies and make a positive impact on the community, region, and world. The construction of Kopchick Hall began in September 2020 and is well underway, with an expected move-in date between December 2023 and January 2024. The building will feature modern laboratory classrooms, an imaging lab, anatomy lab, vivarium, and more, providing students with hands-on learning experiences and opportunities for mentorship from faculty members.
