Originally built in 1964 as a women's dormitory complex, the Tri-County Halls were named after the three counties represented by Kutztown University when it was first established as a state normal school. Schuylkill Hall is also home to the Stonewall Community, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQ students.
