With a robust team of over 210 officers and 15 civilians, the department operates under the leadership of Superintendent Christopher Kearns. The primary objective of the department is to ensure public safety and maintain social order across various county-owned properties, including the Pittsburgh International Airport, the Allegheny County Airport, and nine county parks.
