Both of us have also been inpatient and outpatient from illness to surgery. Top notch care! Please keep up your outstanding work. Thank you from the bottom my heart"

"I gave birth on January 19, 2024 to my first born son. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The nurses, doctors, and staff went above and beyond to be kind, helpful, and make you feel comfortable. They were also very knowledgeable and professional. They truly made my experience, unforgettable and amazing. I am so thankful for their care!"

"Watch out for Karen at the front desk at gynecology obstetrics! I had a traumatic birth recently and had to come for a routine check up so needless to say, you never know what somebody’s going through. Karen (and you’ll see the matching blonde haircut!) doesn’t care! Incredibly rude to patients just trying to check in/out of appointments and makes me wait, with nobody in front of me, while she talks bad about patients to her coworker next to her for minutes. My nurse tending to me and my appointment had me in and out in no time… the longest and worst experience was the front desk. How sad. Geisinger, do BETTER!"

"I've worked for this hospitals IT department for several years. I managed to make it thru my career in the COVID-19 Era unscathed. The amount of favoritism, lack of employee wellness, terrible management, and poor pay is truly disheartening. The company recently "combined" with a company/hospital from California because they were surely to drown in debt. The recent strikes occurring in Scranton are just the beginning for this company and are perfect examples that this company no longer knows how to do business. The company prays on the nurses that cycle thru their Geisinger School of Medicine, using the elderly in the area to fill unwanted/low paying positions, and straining the IT department with little to no recognition. If you currently have people in your life applying for this soulless hospital, please retract their applications and stop feeding this plague of a hospital."

"I was admitted on 1-3-2024. Dr Anderson was the on-call doctor. This doctor is truly a professional. He explained all the procedures and his beside manners were outstanding. He spent 20 minutes talking with me until he was called to the emergency. I was in room H865 and my nurse was Jenny. She is a fabulous person who cares about her patients. The rest of the staff, techs and so on were great. I felt at ease during my stay. God bless them all because they sometimes do their work with very heavy hearts. My words can not express my gratitude. Thanks again to all. I"
