"We stayed over Christmas and we're incredibly impressed with how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The hotel location was fantastic - you could walk to the Franklin Institute or Liberty Bell or Reading Terminal. It is definitely worth paying a bit extra for the newly renovated rooms."

"They upgraded me from a studio to a platinum one bedroom, so that was appreciated. I came for the Philadelphia Marathon and it was a great location to get to things, and it was right on the course itself. It was a short walk from Suburban Station, as I took the train from the airport. Easy to walk to some of the subway lines to get around. Target was close by so I could walk to get food and supplies. Lots of trendy restaurants nearby within walking distance. The only issue with the room was the small bathroom and extremely small sink and counter. I could barely brush my teeth and spit into the sink."

"This property is a must-stay for numerous reasons - beautiful room, fabulous location (location, location, location), immaculate and roomy quarters, great value, etc. The hotel staff was great, but one person was stellar. Front desk person Wister gets my vote for hotelier of the year with his dedication to guest satisfaction, good humor and charm. Wister was attentive throughout our four-night stay, took such good care of us and contributed positively to our experience. There is no shortage of excellent hotels in the heart of this great city and we look forward to our return to the AKA Rittenhouse."

"The rooms did not look like any of the pictures online. The bathroom was so small it could barely fit one person and your knee touches the door frame when you sit on the toilet. The shower had terrible water pressure, making it very difficult to shower. The person at the front desk said they would send someone to work on the shower pressure but no one ever came. There was also mold caked into the grout in the shower, by the shower door and along the walls. We asked about the room servicing policy and was told you have to pay for daily servicing if your stay was less than 6 days. Probably why the rooms are so dirty. Can’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel that charged extra for daily cleaning. Also the wifi was spotty and not working most of the time. Will not be back. Highly not recommend."
