Brinton Lodge
Brinton Lodge, located at 1808 Schuylkill Road in Douglassville, Pennsylvania, is a historic 300-year-old landmark that offers lodging and tours by appointment. The site's unique architecture, colorful history, and local legends are now being preserved for the community to enjoy. Originally a small farmhouse built by the Millards in the 1700s, the property has changed hands over the years and was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. In the early 1900s, the Wittmans expanded the farmhouse into a lavish 28-room mansion, and during Prohibition, it became an exclusive gentleman's club owned by Caleb Brinton. Today, the Lodge is home to Hidden River Brewing Co., a craft brewery and brewpub. Gift cards for ghost tours of Brinton Lodge can be purchased online in any ticket increment, allowing the recipient to choose the date of their visit. To schedule a tour or for more information, call 610-572-7121 or email lodge@brintonlodge.com.
