He holds a B.A. in Biology from SUNY Buffalo and an M.D. from the Chicago Medical School, now known as Rosalind Franklin University. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Stokar became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1984. He later moved to Pittsburgh, where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology and completed his dermatology residency, becoming board certified in Dermatology in 1987.

About Dr. Stokar: Dr. Larry Stokar is a highly experienced and board-certified dermatologist with a rich educational and professional background. Born and raised in Oceanside, New York, Dr. Stokar pursued his passion for medicine by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from SUNY Buffalo. He then went on to graduate from the Chicago Medical School, now known as Rosalind Franklin University, where he received his M.D. degree in 1981.
