Their customer service has not been as good as it used to be. As result I am looking to find another primary doctor."

"- 6 years on Clonazepam (BENZO) - Prescribed 1 pill 0.5mg/ 2 times a day which changed a few years later to 1 pill 0.5mg / 3 times a day - Pulled abruptly when I told the provider I was interested in not taking this medication anymore on 6/28/23 Genesis Primary Care - Reading, PA ** This drug is supposed to be taken for a couple WEEKS, as needed! - Put on kolonidine to help with withdraw which didn’t go well. - Returned to Genesis 7/3/23 after I realize I am having serious withdrawal issues. My BP was 190/120 112 beats per minute. They, (Genesis Primary Care) tell me to come in there instead of going to the ER, realizing they made a big mistake as you never pull someone off a Benzo cold turkey after 6 years! - 7/8/2023 - After days of hallucinations, which started audio quickly were full blown visual as well. - The last thing I remember at the ER was being switched to my bed for admissions and thats all for 3 days! - Spent the 1st 5 days in the Critical Care Unit - I apparently tried to “escape” the hospital several times, I ripped out my IV’s at least 3 times, I have bruises on my legs and I remember NOTHING! - I got out on 7/13/23 which I went home after being put BACK on a different Benzo to ween off over a LONG PERIOD OF TIME!! - 7/17/23 - Went to the Addiction Medicine today for the plan to reduce and remove the Benzos from my system. - Unable to work! Losing 100’s/day! - Without a doubt almost killed me! - I am already going after their license as this isn’t the 1st time I thought them incompetent and for the reason before this and the recovery TIME! - Now I’m on Tegretol along with my blood pressure meds tripled and also added seraquel. Dr Malankar had me in the meds that long and I know Dr Posadas told the PA to cut me off the Benzo because a PA wouldn’t make that decision. I guarantee this place will be closed within 6 months because their licenses are being striped!"

"This used to be a great place when Dr. Malankar was here. I am not sure who is working in the front desk now, but they are really rude and have an awful attitude. It's a real shame, I loved this practice, but they have changed since Dr. Malankar left."
