PAWS Northeast Adoption Center & Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic
PAWS Northeast Adoption Center & Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic is a veterinary care institution located at 1810 Grant Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The clinic is open 5-6 days a week for vet appointments, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries. The Northeast Adoption Center is currently closed, but adoptions are available at the Old City Adoption Center for cats and through appointments for dogs at the Grays Ferry location or foster homes. The clinic offers rabies and distemper vaccinations, e-collars for dogs and female cats, nail trims, and spay/neuter services for feral cats if space permits. Vaccine appointments must be scheduled, and walk-in services are not available. The clinic serves pet owners who have difficulty affording or accessing basic veterinary care, as well as rescue organizations in need of affordable services. Payment is due at the time of service, and cash, debit, or credit cards are accepted. All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, and specific guidelines must be followed before and after surgery. The ultimate goal of PAWS is to make Philadelphia a no-kill city by preventing pet homelessness and rescuing animals in need.
