"This will be long, so I’ll make sure to summarize my thoughts to stay consistent with a fair review of my personal experience with this particular Insurance Agency. My experience does not speak on the multiple incredible people who work there and the founder who was a wonderful, kind and caring person. First, nothing is more awkward than having a bad experience with a business that you happen to share the same name with. You don’t draw it up that way, but sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. I’ve been a costumer for over a decade and a couple of things have muddied the waters regarding my experience. Outside of the wonderful staff that is front-facing and is available to help with a phone call or email, there is a serious issue with leadership. From the early years, whenever we dealt with adverse conditions and needed to consult with the agency, Thomas was the kindest man you’d ever meet. He was extremely helpful and always made sure our questions and concerns were taken care of. Fast forward to a change in leadership - the new ownership couldn’t be more difficult to deal with. From questions of policies, claims after accident(s), and inquiries regarding how things are billed, it is nearly impossible to feel taken care of after trying to get resolutions on any problems that might occur. Unlike previous years before a leadership shift, you are now made out to feel belittled and unimportant when you inquire about anything insurance related. This feeling comes from over a year of dealing with a bad adjustment experience and a dysfunctional payment experience. I understand that with multiple clients, comes multiple responsibilities, but it is very difficult to have a problem fixed in a timely manner. After having a conversation with a member of management who continues to treat myself and other’s poorly, it was time for me to make a decision to make a change with who I have my insurance through. Again, this does not speak on the rates of the insurance or what potential premiums, plans, or surcharges may be, this is just a personal experience with the business. When you have an accident or something happens to your personal possessions, nothing is worse than having a difficult process with even more difficult people to deal with. The stress of everything else is draining and the byproduct of being treated poorly makes it even worse. I will look elsewhere for another agency for insurance and I would recommend you do the same."
