SCI Waymart, located at 11 Fairview Drive in Waymart, Pennsylvania, United States, is a state correctional institution with a rich history. Originally opened in 1989 to house inmates displaced by riots at SCI Camp Hill, the facility was previously operated as Farview State Hospital by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. In 1995, it was designated as a Forensic Treatment Center under the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, providing psychiatric care to inmates within the state's correctional system.
