"This review only pertains to the acting classes offered in Nov/Dec 2023. There were several problems: 1 - Lack of enrollment for the teen (13-18yo) group so we were asked if it's ok to attend the younger (10-12yo) class. 2 - Substitute teacher each week 3 - The kids just played "acting games" for an hour each session with no structure, no goals 4 - Communication was non existent after the initial registration email and combination of age groups 5 - I complained after week 4 - I received a call from Christian, the director, he was very apologetic about the classes but no refund was offered, just a 50% discount on the classes starting in Jan 2024 which are more expensive ($400) vs the fall classes. Conclusion - We chose classes here based on the great Media Theater reputation in the community, however our experience was disappointing - a waste of time, money and nothing was learned. Media Theater, you're welcome for the $300 donation."

"I bring my grandchildren to see the different youth and adult plays that are offered in this elegant old theater. The plays are of terrific quality and It’s a great exposure for them in storytelling and art. Then afterward we have a lot of stores we can explore and ice cream we can enjoy. They are never disappointed."

"I’ve seen a few shows here and they’ve been wonderful. The past two I’ve seen though have left me wanting more :( They ran out of playbills when only 2/3 of the people were still filing in, there was no help for directing people to seats at all and the staff was extremely rude when I asked where they were, and a staff member berated my autistic brother for having his hood up inside. He finds comfort in it and was overwhelmed with the noise. Not sure I will be coming back. Very disappointing"

"I when here with my daughter for the film festival. It a nice theater. The people were a very nice. They were selling T-shirts for 20 dollars. There was a tolley stop was very close. The 101 right in front the door. It was hard to find parking. The lot was full. We parked up the street. The neighbor was very safe."
