"Frick, Ketrow-Erie Insurance, I have been a customer since I was 17 years old. I recommended Erie to friends & family plus helped some switch to this insurance company. My grandfather was an owner of an auto body shop for years and sent customers two doors down to Beth for decades. I never once had a problem with my insurance & I hold multiple policies through Erie. I would have given 5 stars but I ran into my first issue that should not happen. Unfortunately, my father in law passed away unexpectedly. My wife and I acquired the property because of a buyer that pulled out last minute. So I called to get insurance and found out my insurance agent retired. So I called and emailed to obtain a quote as soon as the property was in our names. I never received the quote. So I called back and they said that there might be a problem because I waited 3 months after the purchase to get insurance. I explained & said No this is my 2nd attempt to get a quote so I can get insurance on my property. Again I never received a call or emai. This is my 3rd and final attempt. So how should I proceed to get a successful outcome? Should I take my business elsewhere? My agent Beth Ketrow always got back to me. She was the reason why you even had a successful business in the area. If this is how you are going to handle a 25+ year customer then I guess it’s time for me to start looking for a new agent. You deserve 1 star but I will make it 2 stars because Beth was a reliable agent for years. She would have handled this like a professional. You better get this figured out or there will be other customers following me out the door. Have a great day! The Hampton’s"
