"My close friend, who is 76 years old and has cardiac/pulmonary issues, had to euthanize her beloved dog on March 21. Needless to say she was completely distraught over this. She called to ask for a small prescription of Valium on 3/17, 20, and 21. Nurse Practitioner Lisa wasn't in the office on the first two dates, the office didn't even tell my friend this. My friend waited all day, each day, for a phone call that never happened, which furthered her distress. NP Lisa left early on the 21st, without contacting my friend. I called the office on the 21st and was told that they had to follow "Protocols" meaning my friend had to be seen before a prescription could be issued. The problem is that no appointments were available. A five minute phone consultation would have covered the so-called "Protocols". My friend had seen Dr. Kahn only ONE time in the 2-3 years of being a patient, all other appointments were with NP Lisa. These "providers" are too busy with their Nursing Home commitments to attend to their office patients. She was seen on 3/29 and was informed that they could no longer treat her, most likely because of my call to them last week. No great loss, as she already has a new doctor. Do yourself a favor and find another provider, one who will actually call you back."

She also took great care of my father who passed last year. I’ve actually never met another medical professional who took so much time with a patient. She’s definitely a no nonsense kind of person and will tell you like it is. I like that about her because it shows that she cares. If you want someone to just tell you what you want to hear, go somewhere else."
