Originally rooted in the Keystone Scientific and Literary Association, founded in 1876, the library has evolved to become a vibrant community hub that caters to the diverse needs and interests of its patrons. Our library traces its origins to the visionary efforts of M. Louise Thomas, who dreamed of a space where people could immerse themselves in books and cultural activities.
