"We absolutely love it here! Couldn't be happier."

"We went for lunch on Mother's Day... traveling looking for a homestyle meal. When we arrived, we specifically asked if reservations were required and we're told no. We sat a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes before we cancelled our order and left. Apparently, since we did not have reservations and they were not required...we were being served last. I suppose to make sure they had enough food left. We left at 2 and they closed at 3. Makes me wonder if we would have even been served our food at all. Do not recommend!!!!"

"So far, so good. I was on the waiting list for 2 years. Literally someone had to die for an apartment to become available. It is handicapped set up. You have to request a handicapped apartment. And wait. I have a 2 bedroom second floor apartment with no balcony. I am on the waiting list for a balcony apartment higher up. All of your utilities are included. The washer/dryer are Bosch and included with the apartment. The attractions are many. On site restaurant that delivers, on site home health services, saltwater pool, hair salon, cafe and barber shop are not the greatest attraction. The attraction for me is that at least once a day, 6 days a week when I go for my mail there will be other humans to interact with and puppies to pet."

"My Grandfather has been there for 5 years now. The place is beautiful and well maintained. The staff seems great! Helped him get a haircut and clean shaven with their in-house barber. However for a place that is for the elderly or "older adults", it's really not. For instance, there is not a handicap door in the front entrance nor that we can see at the other entrances. It's not exactly a light door either so there needs to be someone to assist anyone with walkers or other. I had to wheel him in this past weekend and couldn't! Fortunately I got lucky and a couple happened to be leaving and they helped hold open the doors. The toilets are also not handicap height nor is the shower. The shower is about 3ft high to step in! My Grandpa has quite a bit of trouble getting in and it's just too difficult, even with handles. I understand this is not a retirement home but for a place to claim to be for the "older adult"...it's really just a regular apartment with more elderly. It's a gorgeous place with lots of sparkles, but if you're looking for a place to have your loved one be mobile and with accessibilities, I would go elsewhere that is actually geared towards their type of care"

"I have to share this. 10 months ago we were put on a waiting list for an apartment we wanted. The management knew we had a dog. We put our furniture in storage and waited. After 10 months we were called and after a tour, management said there was a 25 lb weight restriction on pets. No where in there advertising or web page is this mentioned. The manager should have told us up front. We spent storage fees for an unnecessary amount of time waiting. So in your don't want to be treated unfairly, don't rent at Greystone Villas at Johnstown. Senior management (the owner) of the company never returned my phone call when I complained. He had a secretary call. Very poor business practices. Please tell your friends and share on social media if you are in any of the towns where Greystone has a property."
