Valvoline Instant Oil Change

"They were nice and efficient, but spent the whole time trying to sell me on repairs. First, told me my cars takes synthetic oil and wanted to charge over $100.00 for an oil change. I purchased this vehicle new in 2017 and have never used synthetic or had any issues. We settled on synthetic blend. They wanted to replace the wipers and air filter which have been replaced at my last oil change (and I follow the recommended schedule for oil chnages). The biggest thing was telling me I most likely had a cracked head gasket and coolant was leaking into my oil. My car has less than 100,000 miles so I will be getting a second opinion on that for sure."

"i got my oil changed here. They apparently forgot to put the cap back on the oil reservoir which caused a leak. Oil spilled all over my motor and made my car smell. I had to take it to the garage to get it fixed. I won’t be coming here ever again."

"Quick, convenient oil change. My husband and I take both his Toyota Tundra and my Lexus sedan to get our oil changed at this location. We’ve gone a few times and the associates are always friendly and personable. I especially like that they do a pre-check before your oil change (18-point check total) but they look at your lights, high beams, blinker, brakes, windshield wipers, wiper fluid, battery, etc. it’s a great perk that’s often overlooked at other big box stores. Upon arrival, Tom had performed all of these checks for my husbands Tundra. I waited about 10-15 minutes before it was my turn. This is a busy location so I expected there to be a bit of a wait. Once in the bay, Roy walked me through all of Valvoline’s suggestions and recommendations for his truck (flushes, etc - I can’t remember the other things) Roy wasn’t pushy at all for the other services and I drove away with just an oil change. Valvoline always has coupons and promotions (you can Google them while you wait) - they’re anywhere from a few dollars off to 20% off. They do a great job at this location, especially given how busy they usually are. Highly recommend them for your oil change needs. Shoutout to: (CHECKER) Tom, (CSR) Roy, (TOPSIDE) Krystopher, and (BOTTOMSIDE) Taylor for servicing my husbands truck!"

"No appointment, gave me options and didn't force services on me, had oil changed and out of the garage in 15 minutes. Didn't even get out of the car. Was awesome. Thanks to Nick and his team."

"Got an oil change and they triggered the immobilization on the vehicle. The security/ anti-theft prevented me from being able to leave with my vehicle. I could not start or move my car as it was shift lock as well. They tried to jump it which did not work. When I stepped out of the loud garage to call my mechanic- WITHOUT my permission they had a technician remove the shift lock- put it in neutral and park it in the parking lot. I did not want my car removed until the investigation of what happened was complete! The manager on duty was no help- did not deescalate, help with a solution or provide a resolution. He got on Google/YouTube to look for possibilities of how it could have been my fault or caused by me and not them- also just kept saying all they did was an oil change. I had to sit in the parking lot trying to troubleshoot my own car for close to an hour after the service but had to leave for work. I was unable to lock my vehicle or roll the windows up when leaving it there. I returned the following evening after work with my mechanic that informed me the immobilizer was triggered- therefore would have to be reset/ reprogrammed. The manager didn’t even offer me a refund for the service that caused the problem or apologize for the issues caused. On top of paying $100+ for the oil change service that caused this problem- I now will have a $100 tow bill, $120 diagnostic fee at the dealership and $170 labor fee to correct the issues caused here. This location took no accountability, I had to open/ file a claim with the support line which caused me to be unable to use or get my vehicle fixed until the investigation is complete which is extremely inconvenient. I was unable to take my sick dog to his vet appointment the following day, and zero remorse was given. On top of all of this, I had taken my previous vehicle to this same location where they stripped my oil plug- said nothing, didn’t replace or even inform me, and also put the oil filter on way too tight. The way this manager handles issues is unprofessional, and frankly I will never be returning to this location or any location for that matter for service in the future. I cannot stress enough how much they did not care about the issue they caused not even attempted to provide a resolution! If I could put zero stars I would!"
