Welcome to Oak Lane Library, a cherished community hub located at 6614 North 12th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established with the combined efforts of the Ladies Review Club of Oak Lane, the Library Association, and funding from Andrew Carnegie, our library has been serving the community since 1910-11. Steeped in rich local history, the Oak Lane Library stands as a testament to the dedication and spirit of the neighborhood's early settlers and their descendants. Our library is more than just a place to borrow books. We offer a range of programs designed to enrich lives and build essential skills. Kids in grades 3 to 8 can engage in hands-on learning activities, such as sewing a button, sending an email, and even doing laundry. We also provide free school supplies and books, and host events where students and families can discover our vast resources.
