She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice, having received her medical degree from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, completed her residency at The Hospital Regional de Bayamon in Puerto Rico, and pursued her fellowship at the Municipal Hospital of San Juan Centro Medico. Dr. Cantellops joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2008 and serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is a dedicated member of several prestigious organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
