"My kiddo attends preschool here and everyone knows his name and says hello. They go out of the way to make my shy guy feel welcome. He loves his teachers and so do I. It feels like a family atmosphere and they are extremely transparent, always communicating on the Class Dojo app. They are held to strict federal regulations so you know they are doing a great job and are regularly checked in on. So many parents I know had a great experience here and I am so glad I chose this school for the PHL preK counts program. He learns so much, plays with other kids, and they do a lot of art! Love it. Also he is safe and very much cared for. What more could you ask for?"

"It's a grassroots care center that doesn't have some of the shininess of a corporate franchise, but is full of heart and soul. The staff knows every child by name, and they are extremely communicative (email, phone app, phone calls, paper handouts, zoom meetings, newsletters). The owner and director take time to care for underserved and income constrained families, providing education and resources for food, clothing, language education, etc. The center is bright and friendly, with handmade decorations that change seasonally and fun community events (trunk-or-treat, multicultural food festival, field trips to linvilla, etc.). The curriculum is comprehensive (even for the infant classroom!). We are happy to have our kid here"

"I have been working here since 2013. I started working in the kitchen work as the infant teacher for 9 years and now and now am the administrated assistant. and I have seen how the owner of this center have gone beyond to help children, parents and staff even wend we had to shot down for covid she was out there getting food, diapers, formula to provide for her family and the community when everyone else shot there doors down she keep the doors open for essential worker to drop of there children in a safe environment I love , love working here"

"I have been working for Children’s Playhouse since 2016. I began as an assistant teacher and moved all the way up the career ladder to Director. The owner is very caring not only for the parents and children, but to her employees and communities as well. I mostly enjoy the opportunities to work together as a unit or family, and we are constantly including the community into our program! Love, love, love working here!"

"I LOVE this place! My little one has learned so much. My child was counting to 20 in English and Spanish and saying the ABCs before 3. In addition, the teachers offered to help with potty training and are making a huge difference. The staff members are kind and attentive and go out of their way for the children in their care. I feel so lucky that I was able to find such a caring environment for my baby. Not to mention the price is incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other East Passyunk childcare centers, and they don't stick your kid in front of a TV for an hour+ a day (like some other places do)."
