"We had our daughter’s bridal shower at The Landing and it was great!!!! The remodeled interior was beautiful from the banquet rooms to the bathrooms. The staff was great and the food was fabulous!!! This is not the old Best Western from the 90’s. It is up to date and beautiful!!!! I would recommend this Venue to anyone who would want their parties or weddings here. And last but not least Mr Shane was great to work with he handled all of our request and was very accommodating."

"Well what can I say? If you haven't found your way here yet, you honestly don't know what you are missing!!! Order the seven onion soup (it's the best french onion soup), the wedge salad, don't forget to order the calamari. For the entrees please order the Dodge Inn Steak, but don't forget to also get chicken and the duck. (this was absolutely delicious). Thanks again Randy and Mr Shane for everything."

"I was in Matamoras for racing again, & what a surprise to find The Landing! The service was top notch. Thais was more than accomodating, very attentive and a pleasure to have as our server. She was very knowledgeable & informative. My wife has a food allergy, Thais was more than willing to assist with navigating the menu & assisting with appetizer & entree selections. The Tacos were delicious & bursting with so much flavor it was impressive & only a teezer for what was to come! The calamari was also very tasty with a combination of sweet & spicy that flowed very well together. Now to the entrees.... I had the 16oz NY Strip, my wife had the Salmon Oscar. Both were amazingly delicious & exceptionally prepared. The steak was cooked perfectly, the garlic mash seasoned 100% on point. The Salmon was tender & moist, hollandaise so creamy & and buttery smooth, you almost wanted to drink it. For desert we had some of THE BEST Bananas Foster I have ever had. Prepared tableside by Mr Shane himself, who told us that preparing it at the end of a busy night makes him happy! Well, it made us happy too. It is hard to describe just how light & delicious it really was. Bananas cooked perfectly, tender & the rum sauce was purely exquisite. We will definitely be dining here again when we are back for racing later in the year. Do yourself a favor when in the area, no doubt you will love it as much as we did!! "I and 7 friends had dinner at the Landing Steakhouse on 4/25. We had several appetizers Korean riblets, calamari stone crab claws, and etc. casesr salad was done table side. And for entrees everyone had either a rib eye steak , filet mignon , Dodge Inn and lobster. I think we order every side dish on the menu. Everyone enjoyed everything and to end it we had the banana Forster done table side. We all said we would come back."

"Great food, great service and management. Thais was a great waitress, who was personable but also gave us our space to enjoy our meal, which was amazing. Mr Shane’s table side preparation of the Caesar salad was fabulous as well. We’ll be back for sure!"
