"I’ve been living in the Southwest area for almost three years now. Since I moved here I noticed there was a Barbershop/Ice Cream Shack. It’s called Marty Mar. I loved the the Ice Cream Shack, never had any complaints! Up until tonight! My entire household would order from this Marty Mar’s Ice Cream Shack. He’s only open three-four months out of the year. In the three years we’ve lived in this neighborhood, I’ve considered ourselves loyal customers to the older gentleman that owns Marty Mar’s Ice Cream Shack. Well tonight around 9:56pm, my Wife and my four year Son went to get a Chocolate Ice Cream Cone, a Blueberry Gelati and a Chocolate Milkshake. Keep in mind we’ve been as I previously stated, we’ve been coming to this Ice Cream Shack for three years now. My Wife gets home with my Chocolate Milkshake, never had a Milkshake from Marty Mar’s before. So I take a few sips of it and it tasted a oddly weird to me. So I’m thinking maybe it’s just my tastebuds. Whatever so fourth, well it wasn’t I had about three other people in my household taste the Milkshake just to be sure. Sure enough everyone said the same thing, it tasted terrible. Like it had been mixed in chemicals or some kind of poison. So for a small Chocolate Milkshake my Wife paid $4 for tasted like poison. Not to mention my Son got a Chocolate Ice Cream Cone from the same Chocolate Ice Cream tub, that the man supposedly used the same Chocolate Ice Cream to make the Chocolate Milkshake. But thing is my Son’s Ice Cream Cone tasted perfectly fine. So that is what I don’t understand, what happened there. If he used the same Chocolate Ice Cream for both the Cone & Milkshake why didn’t the Cone and Milkshake taste odd. Anyway, so she takes it back down to the Shack. Assuming that we wouldn’t have any issues by bringing the Milkshake back, because we’re very loyal customers of his. My Wife as well mannered and polite as she is, starts to explain the situation with the Milkshake tasting odd. She didn’t even finish her sentence. He immediately started attacking my Wife. Harsh words, telling her to get away from his shop, never to come back. Yelling at her, throwing $2 back at her. All she kept saying was listening I just want you to know that there is something wrong with either, the Ice Cream itself, the Milkshake or even the cup he put the shake in. He just kept shaming her and being utterly rude. I was in utter shock. My Wife proceeds to tell him to taste it. He taste the shake and I know God himself saw the look of disgust on his face. Remember this is the same man that made the Milkshake himself, yelling saying he doesn’t use fake stuff, pulling the tub of ice cream from the freezer. Just acting like a child who got told he wasn’t getting ice cream because he didn’t finish his dinner. I never expected this kind of behavior from this “gentleman”. He actually threw $2 at my Wife and told her to keep the horrible tasting Milkshake! Welp looks like we will be finding a new place to take our Son for Ice Cream. Looks like we’ll be calling the Health Department to Marty Mar’s. Cause the number of health violations he’s breaking is ungodly! This man will be cutting a gentlemen’s hair, no apron, no latex gloves nothing. He’ll see he has a customer at the Ice Cream Shack and he without washing his hands will serve ice cream, water ice, Pizza Pretzels the list goes on! So yea he’s breaking all kinds of health laws! His response to us calling the Health Department was? “I don’t care, call them!” “I’ll find another place to sell my stuff! I’m just overall disgusted in what my Wife and myself had to go through tonight!"
