"Our story w/ LAD began in 1993 when we contracted w/ them to build our home. It was such a positive experience from start to finish that it only made sense to contact them when we were ready for a new roof and siding in 2018. Once again LAD provided high quality professional service and we were thoroughly satisfied w/ a job well done. Last year we decided to re-do our deck. This led to another phone call to LAD who agreed to take on this extensive project. We replaced our original 12 x 12 wooden deck (which was still in excellent condition after 27 years) with a 20 x 20 composite deck w/ cathedral roofed area, stairs and a custom cable railing. As the deck is elevated off of the upper floor of our home, the roof had to be tied into our existing roof and added to the complexity of the project. Leon and his team did a fantastic job. Leon helped us design the deck and worked side by side w/ his crew and was never too busy to answer a question. Leon's crew is hard working, always cleaned up at the end of the day, and do great work! Patty is in the office working behind the scenes. She always returns phone calls or emails promptly. We were always kept informed on timing of the project and any delays due to materials or weather. We couldn't be happier with our new deck. "Our home was originally built by LAD 27 years ago. Our house is very well-built and have only needed a few updates because of age and wear and tear. Last year they put a new roof on our house.. they were cost-efficient, timely, neat, and clean. They did the work when promised and were very easy to work with staff and crew. "We have used LAD Construction for 2 large projects thus far. First project was to concrete and extend our rather large driveway plus the addition of 2 retaining walls. We also extended the front walkway to meet steps that were placed to meet the driveway. They finished up by providing landscaping to the newly developed areas. The design Leon suggested has added so much curb appeal to our home. Second project was to replace all our dated interior hollow pine doors. Leon and the team replaced them with custom made, stained solid oak doors. We also replaced the bedroom closet doors with the solid oak French style doors. The team also installed matching stained oak trim throughout the house. The end result was better than imagined. The new doors made the house look brand new! I could not believe the difference it made. Throughout both projects, Leon, Patty and their team were beyond professional, reliable and provided outstanding craftsmanship. From the initial consultation with Patty, to Leon coming out to survey the job, to the physical work getting completed by their team, the entire process was thorough and responsive. Leon and Patty took our ideas and offered insightful advice to benefit our projects. They will not complete the project until the customer is satisfied.
