Haverford College Arboretum
● OpenHaverford College Arboretum, located at 370 Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, is a beautiful park dedicated to stewarding the College's historic tree collection. The Arboretum's mission is to connect the campus's 216-acre grounds with those who study, work, and visit there. By maintaining the health, diversity, and history of the tree collection, the Arboretum honors the original 1834 landscape design by William Carvill. Educational programming ensures continued engagement with this unique and treasured asset. Some of the trees at Haverford College Arboretum have been around since the founding of the campus, making them iconic landmarks. Despite the dropping temperatures, the Arboretum encourages visitors to explore the outdoors during the winter months, as spending time in nature has numerous benefits.
