Dr. Gonzalez-Martinez has a prolific academic presence, having published over 180 peer-reviewed articles and more than 20 book chapters on epilepsy surgery and brain mapping for patients with intractable epilepsy and movement disorders. His research focuses on neuro-electrophysiology, intracranial signal processing, and behavioral neuroscience studies. His clinical and research efforts aim to develop safer and more efficient treatments for patients with severe seizures and abnormal movement disorders, ultimately improving their symptoms and quality of life.
