On that fateful day, the 27th Indiana launched a courageous but ultimately devastating attack against Confederate forces that had seized abandoned Union breastworks, resulting in a staggering loss of 32 percent of the regiment's men.
H.B. Culpeppers
H.B. Culpeppers is a historic and iconic restaurant located at 653 Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Established in May, 1981 by partners Harry Spielman and Ben Bruns, the restaurant is housed in the Mrs. C.B.M. White building, a historic structure built in 1915. The name "Culpeppers" was inspired by the character Captain C.G. Culpepper from the movie "It's A Mad Mad World". The restaurant features a variety of delicious food options and a cozy atmosphere filled with pictures and relics that showcase the rich history of the establishment. In 1997, H.B. Culpeppers expanded into a new location, formerly Indiana Floral, to accommodate more guests and continue to provide excellent service.
