Alton Baker Park
Located in Eugene, Oregon, Alton Baker Park is the city's largest developed park, offering a wide range of recreational activities and facilities. Established in 1959, the park is divided into two main sections: the more developed West Alton Baker Park and the expansive 237-acre Whilamut Natural Area. In addition to its recreational offerings, the park is also home to various special features, including the Native Plant Nursery and the newly upgraded lighting along Pre's Trail. The park is named after Alton F. Baker, a co-founder of the Eugene Register Guard who played a key role in the park's acquisition.
Santa Clara Community Park
Santa Clara Community Park is a future community park located at 860 River Loop 2 in Eugene, Oregon. Currently, the park consists of two open fields with informal walking paths near Madison Middle School. The park development project is in the documentation phase and construction is set to begin in Spring 2023, with completion expected by Spring 2024.
