As spring arrives, the studio is preparing to showcase fresh blooms starting March 15th. Each metal flower is handcrafted using copper and steel, with intricate designs created using an Oxyacetylene torch. Owner Ashtine Rieke has over 20 years of experience in metal art and welding, with a passion for creating beautiful and lasting pieces. After exploring ceramics and glasswork, she decided to focus on her love for metal art and opened Studio Black Avenue in 2018. The studio offers a variety of colorful blooms, from roses to poppies, with options for different finishes such as Thermal Patinas and Porcelain glazes.
