Mt. Tabor Park
Mt. Tabor Park is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located on Southeast Salmon Street in Portland, Oregon, United States. Please be aware that due to damage from severe winter weather, some areas of the park may be limited or closed to the public. Crews will be working to remove downed trees from the park during the week of March 25th through March 29th. Certain areas of the park, including a portion of the road leading to the upper area, will be closed for safety reasons. The park features long flights of stairs, walking trails, and native plants, all set against the backdrop of a volcanic cinder cone. The park also includes the Mt. Tabor Amphitheater, which hosts concerts and events. Please check the Mt. Tabor Park OLA map for designated off-leash areas and park rules. The park is maintained with the help of volunteers from the Friends of Mt. Tabor Park. If you are interested in volunteering, please call 503-823-5121.
