Kohitsuji Japanese Preschool is a school located at 8500 Southwest Spruce Street, Tigard, Oregon, United States. Our educational philosophy is to instill Japanese language and culture in children with values rooted in the Bible. Children who are 3 years old by September 1st can enroll in the fall semester (September), and those who are 3 years old by February 1st can enroll in the spring semester (February). However, they must be fully toilet-trained and have completed the required vaccinations in the state before enrollment. Our curriculum includes music (rhythmic activities, Japanese songs, fingerplays, children's hymns), art, crafts, activities, storybooks, picture books, and special guest visits. The preschool is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Parents can park in the church parking lot and walk their children to the classroom.
