Opening in June 2024, this 48-bed hospital will more than double Norman Regional Health System's current inpatient capacity for behavioral health patients. Referrals are accepted 24/7 and the institution accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and most private insurance. The facility will focus on treating adults 18 and older, with dedicated geriatric behavioral health services for adults 55 and older. Staffed by trained nurses and clinicians, including board-certified psychiatrists, patients will receive individual and group therapy, medication management, mental health education, and family support. Conditions treated include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia-related behavioral symptoms, and substance use disorders.
