"This place is AWFUL! If you are looking for a place for your child to get help this is NOT the therapeutic setting. It’s ghetto, completely chaotic and the staff are not the most professional. When we made the choice to pull our child and go a different route the director of nursing basically stopped his feet like a child that we didn’t agree with his “professional opinion”. My child was only there a very short time but has definitely been traumatized by what she experienced there!"

"I was put in this place when I was 13 I am almost 25 now. I stayed here about a week until my mom finally got me out of this place, although it has been 12 years I often think about how terrible and horrifying my experience here was. It was truly traumatizing. I was treated like a prisoner, told to sit with my back against a wall constantly with nothing to do. I was picked up and physically moved by a much older kid and no one did anything about it, I was punched in my face for literally no reason while staying here, I was constantly surrounded by dangerous scary people often many years older than me. I was so stressed and upset while I was there I didn't poop one time the entire week. When you shower they only give you about 5 minutes, you have to verbally answer them as they check on you every minute or so or they will come in to check on you while you are naked. I wasn't allowed outside during my stay here and one child was extremely pale and he said he hadn't been outside in years. This place is a literal nightmare, please don't send your kids here, if you love them do everything in your power to get them out of this terrible place. It is not a safe loving warm environment for your child, it is full of cold uncaring adults who will treat your child terribly and not think twice about it."

"No place is perfect, but the staff works hard for all of the kids that come through the doors. Inpatient psych treatment is hard for any family, but the staff works hard to ensure that their patients leave the facility in a much more healthier place than when they arrived!"

"I was here for a month about 3 months ago. There were only a few nice staff. Most staff was rude and did not care. There were also staff secretly vaping in the room with us patients. (you could smell it) I got SA'd and they did not care. There was a patient there who made the females uncomfortable and they did nothing about it. The food was very bad. I'm lactose so sometimes they'd just give me dried food. Like dry noodles. There was lots of fighting and LOTS of drama. I came there hoping to get better and focus on myself but none of that happened."

"This place is absolutely horrible, I was their for 4 months . Theirs fights all the time. The food is disgusting, the staff are rude. they don’t listen to you , all they care about is the paycheck. Every time I had a anxiety attack they would lock me in a dark room for hours as I would scream and beg for them to let me out . The restraint system is abuse . I was thrown on the floor by multiple male staff and they took my pants completely off to give me shots . DO NOT send your children here please. I prayed every night that I would die in my sleep so I wouldn’t have to suffer their anymore . Please if you Absolutely have to send your children inpatient please try the calm center, or southwestern. Those places are amazing and extremely helpful"
