Pfeiffer Park

Visitors are greeted by a picturesque landscape adorned with blossoming trees, vibrant flowers, and a graceful fountain, creating an enchanting atmosphere for relaxation and recreation. A highlight of Pfeiffer Park is the iconic bronze cycling sculpture by renowned artist Gary Price, titled "Family Outing." This captivating piece depicts a joyful scene of a father and his two daughters enjoying a cycling adventure. The models for this cherished artwork were Tony Grieb and his daughters, Sally and Tonya. Tony is the son of Willie Grieb, the founder of Montgomery Cyclery, who generously donated the sculpture to the city in honor of his roots in the community. Today, it stands as a beloved symbol of Montgomery’s spirit and heritage.
