"2 times in a row my father in law (in his 60s) was NOT given test results. 1st time was during his stay over Thanksgiving for pneumonia. While he was there he had an ultrasound done on his leg cause it hurt. Released from hospital without those results. 2nd time was today he went in to the ER in tears cause his back hurt so bad he could barely move. Took xrays and wasn't given any pain meds or muscle relaxers. Released from the ER with no results of the tests. This man doesn't take pain meds for anything and tolerates alot! So for him to go in ......... he was bad. Test results are very important people! This is ridiculous!"
"Sat in an empty Imaging area for 20 to 25 minutes, 15 minutes passed my scheduled appt. at 2:30, was there for a simple chest x-ray that takes 1 to 2 minutes after I had already had my pulmonary test done and still had to have labs. Three people walk in at 2:45 and they begin to call these people back and lets just say not a happy camper. They were trying to pass off that they were busy but ah I had sat for a period of time no one there and still not called back. I have never ever walked out like that before, had never gotten upset like that before and I let them know how unhappy I was with what they had done and I left without having the x-ray and labs. I was tired, hungry and it was quite cold in there, no consideration on people do have other things to do."
"Edit: Fisher-Titus corrected it. I think they should definitely look at internal procedures for resending codes and resolving these things. I spent hours on working to get this resolved when it should've been a 15 minute phone call "Hey insurance said you need to resend with the correct codes", then they get the correct codes from the doctor's office, resend, and everyone is happy. Upping to two stars for the resolution, but for the bad experience, can't justify giving more than that. I had to have blood work drawn on 2/16/2022 due to a high blood pressure issue. They submitted the wrong codes to billing. A few months later, I get a bill for $502.50 because they sent the wrong codes. I've tried everything I can to get them to resend with the correct codes that my doctor HAS provided them and instead, they insist on harrassing me to pay the full amount. Their admin is completely incompetent. To this date, 18 months later, the insurance STILL has not received a submittal with the correct codes for these labs. DO NOT have them do your blood work!"
"Update: Contacted Patient Experience and still nothing. Got the voicemail when contacting this department also. No one has contacted me and nothing has been done to improve the experience. Going into almost 2 months and my mother is deteriorating. Have been trying for almost 2 months now to help my elderly mother feel better. A test was ordered from the Milan Family facility for the infusion clinic. I tried calling the infusion clinic after waiting two weeks to see about the scheduling and got voicemail and no one returned my call. I just happened to get someone who answered the one day at the infusion clinic when I called again and they said there were no orders in the system and to have the orders resent. Called the Milan facility and let them know and they were going to get the message to the ordering party to resend. Called Infusion clinic again to see if they received the orders but got voicemail again and no one returned my call again either. Called the Milan Family facility a couple days after that and apparently nothing was done so still waiting to find out what is going on and someone was supposed to call me from the Milan facility to let me know what was happening and no one has called me back. The lack of communication is concerning."
