The boathouse offers various boats and bicycles for rent, and fishing is available at the 85-acre lake. The campground provides 46 wooded campsites with electric hookups. Nature's Niche Gifts & Books offers a variety of nature-related items, and the park also features a golf course, nursery, and soccer fields. The visitor center is a great place for nature education with live animals and interactive displays. A Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the park.

Residents of Hamilton County can purchase an annual permit for $10 or a daily permit for $5, while other visitors can purchase an annual permit for $16 or a daily permit for $8. However, Otto Armleder Memorial Park & Recreation Complex and Fernbank Park do not require a permit as they are cooperative ventures with the City of Cincinnati.
