The Taft Museum of Art, located at 316 Pike Street in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a unique institution that offers a blend of cafe, food, museum, and tourist attraction experiences. Currently, the museum is hosting the African Modernism in America exhibition, showcasing over 60 vibrant works of art created in Africa during the 1950s and 60s. This exhibition explores the connections between African artists and American patrons, artists, and cultural organizations within the contexts of civil rights, decolonization, and the Cold War. The exhibition runs until May 19. In addition to the special exhibition, visitors can also explore the museum's collection galleries, Duncanson murals, and A Breath of Fresh Air.
