The Miami University Department of Art, located at 400 South Patterson Avenue in Oxford, Ohio, is a school dedicated to educating socially responsible leaders in the field of art. Our students explore and create significant ideas, becoming globally-engaged citizens who shape society, inspire future generations, and promote the value of the arts as an essential part of life. Recently, Professor of Art Dana Saulnier had a solo exhibit in New York City, showcasing the talent and creativity of our faculty. Additionally, art educators from the region come together for professional development at events like the 2024 Preservice Art Education Conference.

Dr. Georgeanne G. Botek is a highly respected podiatrist located in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. She is affiliated with the renowned Cleveland Clinic and specializes in diabetic foot care, forefoot surgery (both elective and reconstructive), and musculoskeletal foot and ankle pathology. Dr. Botek brings extensive experience and expertise to her practice, having completed her residency in Podiatric Surgery with the Ohio Permanente Medical Group in Cleveland, OH, in 1996, and earning her medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (Kent State University) in 1994. She also holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Miami University, obtained in 1990.
