"We use to stay at the Jamestown campgrounds when our girls were little. We would go every weekend during the summer. We had a boat that we went fishing in or go down to the beach and swim. It was a lot of fun for all of us. I would definitely recommend it."
"Would be 5 star if the Ranger didn't annoy me. Ranger: Have you been here before? Me: yes Ranger: You know you can't take that side by side out. (Out side by side was in the back if the truck) First off I just told you I had been here before second there is no need to judge people by what equipment they are carrying. We came in later in the day and staying 1 night so just traveling through like most people staying 1 night. So need to be short and rude about any of it. Read your audience better, we are a sixtyish year old couple. Also even though we had been here before it would have been nice to have a map to our site but you were so worried about the equipment you never said another word. Why can't people just be nice anymore?"
"Love pymatuming, need to speed up check out process at the camp store. Ice cream was melting before she ever got done with check out. Camp grounds and sites are great. We will be returning"
"Well kept, beautiful, peaceful campgrounds. Lovely and attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the nature center (with eagle nest) and the gift shop has some great items that we've not seen before. Really nice shower houses and a clean laundry facility. Being right next the lake gave a fantastic view for even those who weren't camping directly on the lake. We could easily see it and walk to it from our site."
"The lake is nice if you can snag one of the few lake side spots. Most sites look to be less than 30' pads and a lot of electric sites only have 110 plugs. Site depths listed online are very deceiving. Some sites listed as premium full hookup but don't have sewer hookup. Booked site 352 based on the online description of a 41 foot pad length. My 33 foot toy hauler was blocking half the road when backed in fully and sitting area was buried in the swamp woods with adjacent site sharing the spot. Camp store was nice and worked to find us another site that fit the camper but still had to park the truck in the grass. Still loved the stay but be cautious when booking."
