The park is one of five public parks owned and maintained by Madison Township, featuring a stunning beach, watercraft boat dock, pavilion with picnic tables and grills, playground, volleyball courts, and a lighted baseball field. The park is surrounded by restaurants within walking distance and is open from dawn until dusk. Pets are welcome in the park, but not on the beach, and visitors are advised to swim at their own risk as there are no lifeguards on duty. Additionally, the park offers public restrooms near the ball fields. Tuttle Park, another park owned by Madison Township, offers a playground, pavilion, baseball diamond, basketball and tennis courts, but the beach is currently closed due to Lake Erie erosion problems. Pets are welcome in Tuttle Park as well, as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after.
