Every Saturday, the Mission Mall is open for giveaway by appointment, allowing shoppers to receive a specific number of items for free. Shoppers can return each week, but are asked to take only the specified number of items to ensure everyone in need has the opportunity to receive assistance. Monetary donations are accepted for those wanting more than the specified number of items, which helps cover the expenses of the building. Referrals and ID are not required to shop at the Mission Mall, and shoppers can find a variety of items they may need. The Mission Mall is also open during the week for donation-based shopping. Those in need of specific items such as furniture or appliances can speak to the Manager on duty. Donations of tangible goods are accepted at the Donation Warehouse, which benefits both the community and the men involved in work skills and life reset opportunities at the Men's Shelter.
