The Johlin Cabin, donated by the Johlin family of Oregon, provides a unique opportunity to step back in time and learn about the challenges faced by pioneers and soldiers in this notorious area. Located at the north entrance of the park on Seaman Road, the cabin is a popular spot for family programs where visitors can participate in activities such as churning butter, planting crops, and other chores. The cabin was moved about a mile into the park when Pearson was expanded in the early 2000s, preserving its historical significance.
