Baldwin Wallace University: Student Veterans Center
The Baldwin Wallace University Student Veterans Center, located at 105 East Grand Street in Berea, Ohio, is a dedicated space for military veterans who are pursuing their education at the university. Baldwin Wallace University: Speech Clinic
The Baldwin Wallace University Speech Clinic, located at 285 Front Street in Berea, Ohio, is a school institution that offers speech, language, and hearing services to both adults and children in the community. Led by Director of Clinical Education, Christie Needham, M.A., CCC-SLP, the clinic is staffed by student clinicians from BW's communication sciences & disorders undergraduate major and speech-language pathology graduate program. These students work under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (440) 826-2149, with clinic hours typically available Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Services provided are tailored to the individual patient's needs, either as a standalone treatment plan or as a supplement to an existing one, and are offered free of charge. The clinic offers in-depth diagnostic evaluations and therapy for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as assistance with organizational skills, memory, and social skills.
