Welcome to the Morgan Township Zoning Department, your local government resource located at 3141 Chapel Road, Okeana, Ohio. Nestled in the southwestern corner of Butler County, on the state line with Indiana, Morgan Township covers a picturesque 36 square miles. Established on March 4, 1811, and named after General Daniel Morgan, this historic township has been a vibrant community since its initial settlement by Welsh immigrants in 1801, followed by German settlers in later years. We invite residents to attend the Morgan Township Trustees meetings, held every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at the Administration Building.
