Kent State Stark Fine Arts
Kent State Stark Fine Arts is a university located at 6000 Frank Avenue Northwest, North Canton, Ohio, United States. The institution's 65,000-square-foot Fine Arts Building was constructed in 1972 and has since undergone expansions to accommodate the growing student body, which now totals 5,000 students. The ongoing expansion project, which began in 2017, will add 15,000-square-feet of new space to the building, including two music technology studios to support the university's popular music technology program. The renovation phase, starting in 2018, will redesign and renovate 17,000-square-feet of the existing building, including classrooms, piano labs, practice areas, and offices. The project aims to enhance opportunities for collaboration with the Stark County community and expand arts offerings for both students and community members.
