Named after Bob’s beloved wife, Laura Avenell, the Laura VII—now affectionately known as The Laura VI—was an ambitious project that captivated the local community. Witness the ingenuity that brought the houseboat to life, from laying railroad tracks to using a bulldozer for its launch into the Ohio River.
