Martha Douce Dance Studios, located at 1491 Marion-Waldo Road in Marion, Ohio, has a rich history dating back to 1943 when Martha Douce began teaching baton twirling to 15 students in her parent's home. Over the years, Martha and her husband Joseph Maniaci expanded their repertoire to include ballet, tap, jazz, and ballroom dancing. Today, Martha's daughters Marilyn, LuAnn, and Suzanne continue the tradition of excellence at Douce Dance Studios, with a legacy of teaching dance to students who have gone on to achieve great success in various fields. The studio has produced Miss Ohio representatives, college drum majors, cheerleaders, and Broadway performers.
